An increasing number of our customers are finding it necessary to transport entire desktop computer systems. Packaged items usually include a large monitor, CPU, keyboard, cables, printer, and documentation.

This type of case application will usually require a large case with custom foam cushioning. Wheels are often specified for ease of handling.

Atlas has two product families, Molded Shipping Containers and ATA Cases which are frequently used for this application.

The selection of the case size is naturally dependent upon the amount of equipment to be transported and the fragility of that equipment. The more fragile an item is, the more space will need to be allowed around it for cushioning thickness.

Useful Tip: Rather than putting your entire system into one large container, consider putting the monitor in a case of its own.
